In 2017 after learning that her 2nd Great GrandMother, Lucy, was a Midwife and created her own soaps, Nekita was inspired to do the same in her honor. She felt proud of her Ancestors as she sketched the logo that would be the face of this love. What began as a gift to Elders and family at a family reunion would soon become tokens of love to others as well, and a gift idea for book signings to those who purchased her book, Strong Like Her: Women Today Finding Themselves in the Women of the Bible. The world shut down; however, requests were made to purchase these botanical wonders.
Nekita wants every Woman to be excited about being alive, empowered and all of the flair and fancy of being themselves - Women!

In August 2023 while traveling, Nekita was given an assignment that embraced all Women. Women of every hue, shape and tongue. As she began to sketch, she wanted every Woman to see themselves in her logo and products. Women like different styles and fashions— from hair to clothing, shoes, how they decorate their homes and choose the cars that they drive. We must have options, right? Yes! The difference in our culture, our language, skin hue and other things that we were born into or with- absolutely do not override the many similarities that make as Women.
